Our corporate strategy is focused on providing hight quality solar systems and ancillary products coupled with traditional and creative financing alternatives. By partnering with local tradesmen that have established reputations, our solar systems are purchased with confidence by homeowners. Our installers have put thousands of panels on homes throughout the United States.
Increases in the cost of electricity have been well documented in recent years. On average we have seen approximately a 5% annual increase in the cost of a Killowatt hour. As our nations electrical grid continues to age and the demand for power becomes greater. An antiquated delivery system will struggle to meet the populations needs. Record increases are predicted in the coming years. Our solar systems with Power Purchase Agreements (PPA’s), cap the rate of annual cost well below that charged by the utility. Savings are guaranteed for 25 years or more. Solar energy has been depicted as the least expensive source of power.
Engineering from design to Installation involves licensed personnel who are required to have the appropriate liability insurance and experience to fulfill all project requirements.
Be assured that the quoting process is not a smoke screen for high pressure tactics. The purchasing decision must be based on credible information and data provided prior to the sale.
Our systems are designed to provide 100% of your current electrical usage. In states where the utility has agreed to credit back over production of Killowatt Hours (Net Metering) , this will contribute to even lower costs. Our materials and workmanship are guaranteed for 25 years. System extended warranties are available at a reasonable cost.
Should an electric vehicle be in your future or in your driveway, an in-home charging system can be installed either with or without a solar system. Cost to charge a car when a solar system is present minimizes the cost significantly. In the Pittsburgh area our contractor is CW Electrical Services.
Periodically, a home owner may need to replace an existing roof to accommodate a roof top solar system. We use licensed and reputable roofing contractors to replace a roof prior to solar installation. Pricing must be very competitive. Our Contractor in Pennsylvania and Ohio (Penn-Ohio Roofing) installs metal and asphalt roofing at very similar pricing.
Parts, labor, and even roof penetrations within 3" are covered ensuring that system owners will enjoy zero deductibles for 30 years. Our monitoring software allows installers to stay on top ofservice calls and claims processing The Solar Insure Monitoring & Warranty transfers freely from owner to owner, following whoever Is on title without fees, enhancing the property value.
Solar Batteries can be installed for help during power outages or when your utility doesn’t credit back enough for over production. In many cases using a battery with your system may actually be close in cost to a gas powered generator that is more expensive to operate than a solar battery. Extended warranties for Tesla Power Wall and other brands are also available.
Silent Operation (ground or roof mount) No fossil fuels needed Federal Tax Credits (30%) PA Tax Incentives ($.20 per watt) System and Battery extended warranties Home electric bill reduced 30-50% (estimate) via Net Metering
Keep your solar array functioning at maximum capacity. Areas prone to high levels of dust have an impact on peak solar performance. Get a no obligation quote.
Purchase and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA’s)
The data required to generate an accurate quote can be obtained by an in person audit and site survey. The home owner can help facilitate the process by providing their electrical bill. An in person audit usually requires photos of the roof, electric meter, service panel and the interior of the attic. The audit can be done remotely with the home owners cooperation.
Once the homeowner makes it clear they want to proceed with the installation, by accepting our proposal, we will arrange for one of our engineering team to make an in person visit to validate the initial energy audit. They will review potential shading, roof stability and capacity of the service panel to accommodate the system. A roof under 15 years of age is also normally required. Our roofing division can roll the cost of a new roof into the pricing, which all qualifies for the solar tax incentives.Batteries not included but available.
Throughout the process our energy consultant will keep you advised of the progress and answer any questions you have about the coming installation.
This part of the process is very dependent on various government agencies and the utility. Inspections for code and interconnection are ongoing requirements that must be followed before installation can be scheduled.
Your electric utility will perform the final inspection and give the system Permission to Operate (PTO)
A convenient time for the installation is established. This generally takes one day to accomplish for an average system. The homeowner should be present.
When all inspections, including interconnection, are completed, you will be ready to flip the switch and begin enjoying the savings from solar energy. The amount of production is contractually guaranteed by Altever Solar.
Ongoing remote monitoring produces regular reporting of Killowatt production and allerts service technicians of possible malfunctions.

Great experience, customer service. I was able to get a great price and a great company to work on our system.
Helped me find a good solar installer. Easy to use. Quick.
I found ZSA Solar extremely helpful in sorting out the information that several companies gave me about solar power for my home. Maria was knowledgeable and extremely responsive.
Everyone from Altever was professional, knowledgeable and friendly, they made the installation process a breeze. Each inspector that came through was impressed with the system. I've already referred a few friends to go solar.
Good to go, for you to know
One of the best experiences we've had with projects on our new home. Brian was very helpful an made sure that we were kept updated on approvals all the way to following up when we got our first bill. We were both impressed and pleased.

We couldn't have had a better experience going solar with Altever. I suppose because I work in customer service, naturally a good customer experience stands out to me. With Altever I felt comfortable and that I was in good hands the whole way, because of the way that their service people and customer support staff took such good care of us.
